Pastor Henry Simons has been a faithful member of Truth Church & Ministries since  1996. He held several leadership roles including through ordained Elder under the  leadership of Pastor Andrew D. Jones. Henry was identified as the successor of Pastor  Andrew D. Jones and was installed as Pastor of Truth Church and Ministries on August  8, 2022. Henry is now one of only five serving Pastors in church history. He is committed  to spreading the good news of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His heart is to share the  word of God in a simplistic way that influences the hearts and the minds of people all  over the world.

In his profession, Pastor Henry has worked for over 20 years as a leader in the Support  Services industry. He is an accomplished leader with a strong bias for action and has a  proven ability to bring a sense of urgency to transform culture. He currently serves as  Assistant City Manager of Operations for the City of Columbia. Henry enjoys providing  support to families and the community. One of his favorite sayings is “we are blessed to  be a blessing”. Henry received the Men of Impact award from Palmetto Health for his  work as a team member who impacted culture internally and externally through his  community work.

Pastor Henry has a Master's Degree from the University of South Carolina in Healthcare  Administration and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in  Religion from Benedict College. He is married to Kimberly H. Simons with a son, Jordan, and a daughter, Jaylah. Henry’s hobbies include traveling with family,  participating in sports, and being actively engaged in the community.
